Our Mission

Our Mission

Has been to work for the betterment of others in cultures and settings all over the world. From our home places in the US, Rural New York, Texas, Arizona and Ohio, we have sought out opportunities in the wider world in Africa, the Middle East, and Australia to lend a hand to others, and this has galvanized us throughout our lives.

Today, in this fractured world, it is to support the cause of independence for Greenland/Kalaallit Nunaat, as the Greenlandic people strive for their own voice in the world.

Extraordinary Experiences

Life has taken us to the mountains of Lesotho, the enclave of Gaza, the Navajo Reservation for five years and to every continent in the wide world. We have experienced the strife of people living under the influence of militarism, poverty, and even for some, a real sense of hope to rise above their circumstances and reach freedom and self-identity.

We have been invited to participate in healing ceremonies on the Navajo Reservation, an extremely rare honor for a non-native, and to celebrate in so many ways in the lives of the Palestinian people there as well. But it has always been the acceptance by so many people in so many far flung places that has marked our lives as fulfilled no matter the circumstances.

Our Core Values

We say with no reservation that our values in the way we spend this time we have been granted on Earth are centered on valuing life in all its forms. We have found great affection for so many people that we have met and those close to us, and then also find a thrill and wonder at the life around us, in nature and the Earth.

We are torn apart by the injustices and indiscriminate use of power by people and countries that victimize the vulnerable and pacific. We feel the loss suffered by the victims of aggression and try to staunch the loss of these forces, and help to raise up people and all life to a better place, a more fulfilled and natural existence. And that is why we are in Greenland at this moment in time, to lend our modest gifts to a great aspiration, a cause that is timely and worthy of all of us.
